Good morning everyone. As the dust settles on another incredible contribution by Cardiff North Taekwon-Do School at the Welsh National Championships, I would like to take a brief opportunity to reflect on the achievements by everyone. The fantastic support by all who were there for the entire day really does make such a difference and demonstrates the true ethos in all we are trying to achieve. Thank you so much. A special mention is necessary of Emir our junior yellow belt who competed at his first National Event in a very difficult category. I had the pleasure of witnessing first had his faultless effort and was very proud of him. Well done Amir. You all demonstrated true family spirit and again I could not be prouder of your example that was clear to see, the results never truly reflect or out way the contribution and hard work that you all relentlessly provide. • I've done Taekwon-Do before. Do I need to start from white belt again?
As long as you previously trained at an association under the International Taekwon-Do Federation, you will not need to start from white belt again. You'll need to bring your certificate, and of course your belt!
  • How much does it cost?
The cost can be tailored to you, depending on how many people in your family want to train, the ages of the students, and how often you wish to train each month. As a guide, the average cost is around £25 per student per calendar month.
  • What age do I need to be?
Usually we advise that the youngest age for students to start is 5 years of age. However, children could start at a slightly younger age, depending on the personality of the child. We have no upper age limit for accepting students.
